MDF and MF-MDF are engineered wood-based sheets, both extremely versatile and can be finished to a high standard. The MF means Melamine faced, where you can choose from various material finishes. Our Ply is a Poplar weatherproof Plywood, a composite board suitable for many uses, but doesn't offer a high standard finish, other types of plywood are available, please contact us.

The thickness of your board depends on your use, desktops generally have a minimum thickness of 18mm to allow for enough sturdiness for everyday use.

Maximum length is 2400mm, max-width is for ply 1200mm, and max-width for MDF is 2000mm. If applicable, length is the direction the grain will run on MF Wood products.

You can now choose a custom colour for your panel to be wet sprayed, this is priced as a flat fee based on the size of your board. Pricing is calculated automatically. The stock colours shown are what we hold in volume and will be cheaper than a custom colour mix.

If you choose to have your board sprayed in a custom colour, you can also have it primed to produce a better and long-lasting finish.

As standard, we paint on both sides of your custom board, if this is not required, please let us know to make the board cheaper.

PANEL EDGED?

Edging your panel means that we will run a bead of matching melamine around the exposed edge of the board, great for desks or worktops.
